Come Out and Show Your Support for The Belle Isle Nature Zoo! At 10 am Saturday, April 29th, running and walking enthusiasts, from all over Metro-Detroit, will participate in The Belle Isle ‘Spring into Nature’ 5K Run/Walk on Belle Isle. FREE T-shirts will be given to the first 150 entrants and free refreshments will be available to all participants. All net proceeds from the Run/Walk will benefit the Belle Isle Nature Zoo. Open on-line registration is available at www.dsgstore.com for $15 adult/$12 children before April 23rd. Event day run/walk registration will be between 8:00 and 9:30 am for $20. This event is being presented by Detroit Synergy and has been endorsed by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, Health, and Sports.
